Hello Kim,
am trying to figure out whether Aren is os 32bit or 64bit. assume it is 32bit. vainly tried to find something about that on your website, but maybe I am looking at the wrong placeds :-) if it is 32bit, do you plan to release a 64bit? Keep up the good work! = |

Advanced Rename is 32 bit, but works perfectly fine in 64 bit environments. I don't plan to make a 64 bit edition at the moment. I am curious to know why you are seeking a 64 bit version? |

Hi, the 32-bit app works fine to me too, but not by using the context-menu. Then I always get an error-msg: could not open Advanced-Renamer. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Windows 8.1 [64-bit] * Java 7 Update 71 [32-bit] |

Indeed, there would be a 'native' context menu support. Select files, rmb - advanced renamer. However, shell:sendto may be a workaround. - |

In my case, the original contextmenu-entry, created by AdvancedRenamer itself, is connected to 'arencm64.dll'. Seems this dll is the problem. The sendto-entry, or better: an entry with FileMenuTools http://www.lopesoft.com/en/, connected with 'ARen.exe', makes AdvcancedRenamer work, as before. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Windows 8.1 [64-bit] * Java 8 Update 25 [32-bit] |
