I had been doing this fine, without a hitch; then, today, when I try to add to folder names, it renames empty folders fine; however, it throws an error on all folders that have sub-folders.
It will rename the sub-folders,but not the root folders. Plus, when I try to manually rename the folders in Explorer, it says I can't; nor will it allow me to delete the affected folders, even when I am the administrator with full privileges. I am not doing anything different than I was when this worked so well. Thanks for reading and all help is appreciated. |

The current version of Advanced Renamer has a bug that in some cases can lock a folder from name changes. A next version should correct this. A new version is released within days. |

The version I have is 3.83 I was able to regain control of the locked folders and rename them manually after closing all programs and restarting the machine. |
