renumber backwards

I create animations that use many frames. My application exports the images numbered in order. I want the animation to loop smoothly so I copy the images, renumber them backwards, and then append them at the end of the original group of images.
How can I renumber files backwards? image001 image002 image003 becomes image006 image005 image004 or image0003 image0002 image0001 or something to avoid the obvious conflict. thanks |

The easiest way to renumber backwards is to sort the files in reverse direction. You can do so by clicking the header of the column you want to sort twice. |
