Bulk Rename fails

Using replace method, AutoTest showed apparent success, as did the actual "Start batch" button, on a set of ~250 files.

Yet checking in the Windows 10 File Explorer shows that the files weren't renamed, even after I closed the Advanced Renamer (v 3.85).

Suggestions, fix?

Perhaps some of the files were "Locked" by an active image processing application, since closed?
Closing that app, allowed success in new attempts with AdvRen.

Seems that my request for a fix is instead another product endorsement!
