Is it possible to change directory names which have been created with illegal characters?
Windows explorer depicts the folder with the | character. Command prompt depicts the same folder with the ♣ character. * Note that the ♣ character is alt+1029 character Does anyone know how to get around this? Thanks in advance. As a side note, the folders are being created by a TV set top box which records to USB stick. I can edit the files created from recording all TV stations except one - which I think creates an illegal directory name so that the programs cannot be copied. |

I am not sure if Advanced Renamer will rename that file. It sounds like it contains unicode characters which is not supported right now. |
