Problem with context menu option in Windows 8 64-bit

On October 26th last year, I wrote: "I recently installed Win 7 x64, but the context menu option of Advanced Renamer does not work properly, the program opens, but empty, without any file of folder I selected. Could you solve this? I use ARen 3.53 Portable. Thank you very much for this great program". Now I installed Windows 8 64-bit and have the same problem. Now I'm using ARen 3.55 Portable. I think the problem is in my Windows configuration and not in ARen. Please, could you answer my question?
