newbie needs help

hallo,
I#m using advanced renamer the first time today. I want to rename folders that have subfolders and files. the replacement does not work und error 101 is given for all folders. If the folder to be renamed does not have subfolders the same method works. ANy hints for me?? thanks in advance Harkra |

Hi You will get this error if the file or folder you are trying to rename is write protected in context to your current user. This means that you cannot rename a folder and its subfolder in one batch, because the subfolder will get a new location when the root folder is renamed. You will also need to make sure you have the correct permissions to change these folders. Folder located under Program Files can only be renamed with Advanced Renamer if run as administrator.
