I am not sure I completely understand the problem. Can't you use the <Dirname> tag? |

Sorry I made a wrong subject title. I want to rename FILES by name of parent folger eg:
folder1/folder2/file.jpg and if I want to rename the filename with folder1-folder2.jpg this is not possible I can only rename to folder2.jpg Would be a great feature. |

You are right. That is not possible right now. I am not sure whether I will do it or not, but I am considering it. |

At the moment (as a workaround) I rename folder 2 first with the name of folder 1 and after that all the files inside. But this is a lot of work especially because I have to add all subfolders by expanding and holding ctrl-key. But maybe you already thought about that in this post: http://www.advancedrenamer.com/forum_thread/?fo rum_id=50 Would be very helpful if you add at least this function. |
