hi all. I just found this program to the need to rename the video files that make my camcorder Sony, are of this type 20090126225659 in which the first 4 digits are the year of recording, the next two the month, the next two the day , the following time, the next two minutes and last two seconds in which the recording was made, for me is a bit tricky to understand this when you see a whole list of videos, so I would like to change the name to this form or another but to understand them as sencialla day (number) / month (text) / year (number) 26/enero/2009 example. I need help to do this, see if someone helps me. thanks

You can use the New Name method to change the whole filename with tags representing values from file metadata. You will have to use the SubStr tag to extract parts of the filename like this:

<SubStr:1:4> will yield 2009 and <SubStr:7:2> will yield 26.
