Hello,
I'm trying to change file names with the import CSV method, and when I'm loading the file there is an error that says: "cannot find source file".
If I understood this right, I must use the import csv method because I don't have any logic in my original file names.
I've seen in the forum that someone already asked you about this problem but I didn't understand the solution.

I'm using windows 7 and the latest version of the AdvncesRenamer (downloaded it today- 16.6.16).

Here is an example of the file I was trying to import:

original file name;new file name
463;N4435G16
559;N4435S18
560;N4443S18
561;R1896MG
568;R2832MGmed
916;R7932MGsml

Thank you very much for your help, Michal

Pretty simple, you need to specify the file extension for the source file, and you need to enter the "base folder for original files".

so:

463.txt;N4435G16 in the csv

and "C:\whatever_folder" in the base folder for where the original files are

OR

463.txt;N4435G16.txt

and set the List method that is the result of the import to "Name and extension"

cheers!
