Dear All,
from a huge list of pictures, I'd like to sort pics ending with 'e' (manually modified) and move them into a 'sink' folder and only move/rename all other pics. Example: 123456.jpg -> move/rename 123456e.jpg -> sink Could someone help me building the condition on the ending 'e' and then moving these files into a dedicated folder? Thanks a lot in advance, Benoit. |

Can't you search for the "e" pictures in windows explorer, with the mask *e.*, move these files to the sink folder, then import the rest into AR and move/rename them? Am I missing something here? |

No, you're right, it's possible indeed. I was wondering if it was possible in AR, just to do all in once. So, is it possible in AR or not? |

Well, hum, yeah, it is possible, but would still be two steps, I think. Probably be easier the other way I explained tho. 1-Import all your files in AR 2-Select the Mark->Mark None option with right click on the list of files 2-Use the Mark->Mark by pattern with right click on the list of files 3-Enter *e.* 4-Put AR batch in Move mode 5-Select your "sink" output folder 6-Start Batch 7-Select all the remaining with Mark->Mark all 8-Do your other move/rename steps hope it is what you were looking for cheers |
