I need to change the timestamps for a bunch of files where the date is coded into the filenames, like this
AZG163781900_001_20161230.pdf AZG163781920_002_20161230.pdf AZG163781900_004_20161230.pdf AZG163781920_001_20161230.pdf (please note the last 8 chars of the file name for year, month, day). To be able to use method "Timestamp" I need to rename the files first to add separation chars between the date components, like this. AZG163781900_001_2016-12-30.pdf AZG163781920_002_2016-12-30.pdf AZG163781900_004_2016-12-30.pdf AZG163781920_001_2016-12-30.pdf Renaming works with Advanced Renamer but I need to rename first, then re-load the renamed files into the program again and then use the second "Timestamp" method. While this works well (technically) it is not quite easy (for me) to re-select the renamed files to drag them into Advanced Renamer again. Is there a way to use the methods one by one? To first rename the files and them apply the "Timestamp" method? see other post https://www.advancedrenamer.com/forum_thread?for um_id=4119 |
