Say I have two files that will be getting identical names once I start to rename them. The contents are different though. Advanced Renamer will report this, rightfully so. I can manually make a minor change to the original name, so the rename can still take place, but . . . Maybe offer an option to have this problem 'autocorrected' by Advanced Renamer ? Like adding -01 and -02 to the filenames. The autocorrection cud be as an option in settings: this will save time (user donot need to check the errors and have AR autocorrect the files one by one. Hehe. The feature of name collision rules is also fairly new. Many users are not aware of the functionality yet. |
