Is there anyway to Rename JPG files by date Modified NOT date created?
I have a windows folder full JPG files downloaded of viber messenger on my phone. The files have random file names like "image-9a108b738ddd9df907ceee15f0bcae5d89c5f5c0bd6d60fb3707c271797d9ea1-V.jpg" But because it's just a file sent to me that was coppied to a desktop, it doesn't have a "date taken" ..only a date modified, and date created. So Is there anyway to rename these files by date modified NOT date created? |

Hummm. I don't quite understand the options. When i tried I got an invalid timestamp error When I add method timestamp I see there check boxes under the apply to section. Created date and time Accessed date and time Modified date and time. Then under that there are check bubbles Created date and time Accessed date and time Modified date and time. Image date and time Absolute date and time ect...ect... |

Sorry, I led you down the wrong path. It's "New Name" > "Date/Time Modified" Tags > choose the pattern you want Although, for some reason the <Hour Modified> shows as 24 hour time instead of 12. I'm not sure if there is a setting or trick to change that. |
