Greetings Earthlings
I have been using Advanced Renamer for quite a while and it ha ssved me endless hours either in typing time or renumbering files. Anyway, about a week ago whenever I start AR it proceeds to spin one of the two HDD's I have attached externally. As this is a big drive (5gB) the spinning does go on and on and on. Do you good people know what is causing this, and more importantly, how I can stop it (cos its driving me NUTS) Many Thanks in advance |

Well, first of all, there is no relation between the time a drive takes to spin up and its capacity. This is also not related to advanced renamer. try to download crystaldiskinfo and see what your drive S.M.A.R.T. is saying on the health of the drive, and then decide if you need to replace it. cheers |
