Hi Kim,
A say a bug, but let me report it, first. Using Add Method/New Name, <Inc Nr:1> increments number. It seems the number of digits is based on the total file number, so 103 gives 001 to 103. When I select "Rename file pairs with the same new filename", it effectively reduces the number of unique file names to less than 100. I would expect the number of digits to be 2, therefore 01 to 99, say. Maybe I'm missing something? Regards, Mark and of course, <Num Items>now has an issue. It shows the total, including the "repeats" within the file-pairs. Maybe something like <Num Unique Names> or <Num Items with File Pairs> is needed? |

I have not tested this yet, but it sounds like a plausible bug. I will take a look at it. |

Thanks! And by the way, the File Pairs is an excellent idea, something that has caused me much aggravation over the years .... for instance, I have original video, an associated thumbnail (.thm or .jpg) and a version suitable for the internet, all with the same base name but different extensions. |
