Change encoded date of video file from filename?

I am working with quicktime .mov files. I need to change the imbedded metadata "encoded date" to the filename. For example, the file name is 06.23.12 10.55.08 PM.mov. Can your software do this?

It's my understanding that while AR can access Exif data to rename files, folders etc, it is not capable of writing Exif data to a file. The author says there are plans to develop that, maybe.

However, I believe Exif is pertinent to images, while meta data in video is a whole new ball game. AR makes use of ExifTool, you may want to check our the ExifTool website to see if it even supports video meta data.
