Hi everyone

I would like to know if someone could help me to create a Script to rename files into many folders with "n" number of files, I mean; I have a tree of folders (without sub-folders) and every folder have "n" number of files the new name must be Name of the folder plus serial Number until the end of files <Dir Name> - <Inc Nr> the next folder must star again with 01 until the end of number of files inside the folder all of this "n" number of folders, I saw in this forum something similar in this post: um_id=4152 but unfortunately the last link is broken so I cant understand how can I made and run the script

Thanks in advice

No script required, this is meant and drink to AR :)

Drag the parent folder in to AR, so all files in the "tree of folders" will appear in the main window.
Make sure the order is correct (click the column headers as required

New Name method
<DirName:1> - <Inc NrDir:1>

See default

To force the "01" format, use:

<DirName:1> - <Inc NrDir:01>

Wooww Thank you very much for your answer It was really easy, unfortunately, AR only can support 25000 files per time, but its ok I can do the same process five or six times
Thanks a million
