Lets say i have about 100 files
BREAD S2HK.pln BREAD S2HK - Copy.pln BREAD S2HK - Copy (1).pln BREAD S2HK - Copy (2).pln BREAD S2HK - Copy (3).pln etc I want to rename ALL these files to something like BREAD S2HK.pln BREAD SCA2.pln BREAD SCAD.pln BREAD SCBL.pln BREAD SCDE.pln etc Can i do that with this software? If so, how? |

Since your new names have no systematic relationship to the original ones you will have to use the List method and load a list of new filenames corresponding to the order of the list as imported into Advanced Renamer - note that the list in your example will not appear in the order you have typed. Easiest method is to import your filenames into AR and "Populate list" in the List method. Edit the list of names as required and the new names will be applied. |
