Rename Images Based on Tags but with Incrementing Number

Hi,

I was just wondering if it was possible to rename images based on image tags with an incrementing number WHEN there is more than one image taken on a particuler day, Then it gets reset for the next day.

For example, I added in my picture collection which range from 2005 - 2011. I have used the format

<IMG Year><IMG Month><IMG Day>-<Inc Nr:1>

But the incrementing number just keeps on incrementing. What i would like to have is this.

20111229 - 01
20111229 - 02
20111229 - 03
20111229 - 04
20111229 - 05
20111230 - 01
20111230 - 02
20111230 - 03

See how the numbers get reset for each particular day?

Any Chance this is possible
