Name without file extension

In version 3.21 when I select "<Name> without file extension" the program displays the Name along with the file extension. I need the rename batch method to replace the file extension too, and the previous release did just that.

I cannot see the problem you describe. Can you explain it further? I experience that there are some problems when renaming only the extension. I will fix that in an upcoming release. |

I found the error on my end. Below the default tags is the drop down box titled Apply to: which was set for Name only. When I change the setting to Name and Extension the renaming action worked as expected. Sorry for the false alarm. |

That is okay. Honest mistake. But you did lead me to find a bug in the rarely used case of renaming extensions only. |
