I want to change the word order in a file name, such as:
BOOK 01-03 - MAKING MY BOSS OBEY; HELPING MY BOSS OBEY; [MF]- C. C. SIMONE to: BOOK 01-03 - MAKING MY BOSS OBEY; HELPING MY BOSS OBEY; - C. C. SIMONE [MF] BTW, this is a great forum. I have found out so much here, even though I don't understand a 10th of what I seen. Thanks again Cliff |

The answer is explained in the User Guide: www.advancedrenamer.com/user_guide/regular_expresions
Replace: (\[.*\])(.*) with: \2 \1 |

One other factor, the [MF] might be in different parts of the file, i.e., BEDDED BY THE BULL [MF] - NATASHA HUNTER DOUBLE [MF] - BOSSED - NICOLE ELLIOT thx again, Cliff |

Thx again David. It worked. I must be really ignorant because I have tried to go through the User Guide, in an attempt to figure my problems out, but after a while, it just makes no sense to me. I will keep trying though. |
