successive dates by batch

A chronic problem people have with music files is that all the music files of an album may be downloaded with the same date/time for each file. Then music players like VLC cannot properly order them, even if the actual file name has a number in them. (windows chooses (it seems) to order them by date rather than file name). So I want to change the dates of 10-15 files successively, say one minute apart.

Most programs lets you choose how to order the files. Doesn't VLC give you that option? By Windows, do you mean Windows Media Player? |
