Feature request: Remember last used REGEX expresions in replace

I use this amazing tool to rename a lof of my sample kits, sometimes I have to rename a note in a sample like; piano_C#.wav
I have a regex that captures the note and translates it to piano [C#].wav
However, I cannot save a single replace option like the regex. A simple solution would be to let the "Text to be replaced" box be a drop down with the last 10 used replace expressions?

Alternatively, it would be great it I can store a single replace option instead of the whole preset list. Thanks for this great tool!

Have you tried the List Replace? It can have multiple replace pairs in one method and ti supports regular expressions.

Hi, this is not what I meant. I want to select a previously used regular expression as a dropdown in the replace option, ones that I added before. Like a history drop down. And if possible saving the settings of a specific block to replace, not the complete replace chain.

Some regular expressions get quite complicated, and I would like to select them again from a list instead of re-typing them when I need them, if that makes sense.

Have you tried a good clipboard enhancer program? You can generalize it to a lot more uses than just ARen, and it really makes a big difference when writing method lists.

Just my .01€ ...
(In fact, my clipboard augmenter just saved me a bit of trouble. I had a long paragraph I'd composed then cut to clipboard, and in writing this I copied the Euro symbol just to be a smarta$$ :). If I hadn't had my clip catcher I'd have had to spend 10 minutes recreating. And a history list in ARen wouldn't have been much use.)

In Windows 10 if you press the windows key+v you can access to the new clipboard. You can see the historical, delete and pin any text clip.
