Error in Timestamp Mode with MP4 file
I have been altering the 'Created Date & Time' for many JPG files using the Filename pattern option and Advanced Renamer has performed beautifully.
Unfortunately, when using the same process with MP4 files, Advanced Renamer fails to update the Created Date & Time and returns 'Error Code 101: Unable to open file'.
Could someone please assist with a possible solution, thanks.

That error has nothing to do with the file type. The fact that it works for JPG and not for MP4 is probably a coincidence.
You get this error when the OS cannot provide a write lock for the file. This can be because the file is readonly, you don't have permissions, it is in use by another process, or something else. You might also get this error if the file is located on an external drive or network drive. It can also happen if it is a file controlled by Dropbox or OneDrive and the file isn't ready to be used.
Btw. which version are you using? And is this the exact error message?

Thank you very much for your help with this Kim.
It appears that having two other programs open when attempting the date change was preventing Advanced Renamer changing the date.
The apps were Directory Opus (a File Explorer replacement) and IMatch (a digital asset manager) and closing both of these fixed the problem. Having Windows Explorer open did not result in the error appearing.
I would like to drag the MP4 files from IMatch to Advanced Renamer for ease of use.
Would there be a setting I could change, or other workaround available so I don't have to shut IMatch down before starting the 'Batch' in Advanced Renamer?
Thanks
(P.S. All my media files (JPG & MP4) are on an external USB hard drive and I am using AR v4.19)
