Feature request: Path bar in folder browser

I often need to perform batch renaming on folders that have been shared with me in Google Drive. These folders are accessible via shared links rather than regular local paths.

Because Advanced Renamer doesn’t currently allow pasting paths directly into the folder browser, I’m unable to open these shared folders through their corresponding .lnk shortcuts (which appear as folder shortcuts in Windows Explorer).

This functionality already exists when browsing for files to add to Advanced Renamer, where a Path bar allows direct pasting. It just seems to be missing when browsing for folders.

Would it be possible to add a similar Path bar to the folder browser so that paths can be pasted directly? This would make it much easier to access non-standard or linked folders.

Thank you!

Chris

I strongly second this feature request.

The current "Add Folder" dialog is annoying and all but useless for quickly and accurately switching/adding folders. Even "standard" ones.

I strongly agree with this feature request. The current “Add Folder” dialog is cumbersome and makes quickly switching or adding folders frustrating, even for standard directories. Using LongPathTool can help manage long paths and folder structures more easily, but improving the dialog itself would make workflow much smoother.

Wow. Been a while since I've seen LongPathTool spam. But that's some quality AI work right there! ;)

I agree, Randy. Almost made me think Anna Lepos was a human for a minute! :)
