Remove caracters to reduce name's lengh
Hi I want to Remove caracters at the end of files names to reduce lengh.
How can i do it in one action in all folders and sub folders ?

Hi Yoann,
One way is to use the "New name" method.
(https://www.advancedrenamer.com/user_guide/v4/method_newname )
For the New name: field, use "<Substr:1:80>" -- without the quotes.
This replaces the name with the first 80 characters of the original name.
To get the files in all folders and sub folders, drag the base folder to Aren's list area and select the appropriate options.
Two important notes:
1) Aren will only do 10000 files at a time. But this can be changed in the options. (Not recommended)
2) If you also want to rename the folders themselves, you will have to add those separately from the files.
