Sort by New FileName not working

Attempting to sort by New Filename simply does not work. Sorting by other columns works, but not new filename.

Is there any way to fix this?

Hello Kim,

As the program creator, Kim Jensen, has stated a few times on this forum, it is not possible to sort on the new filename, as changing the order of the files can often in turn change the new filename, creating a situation where you either end up in an endless loop or you would see bad information in the new filename preview column. (He didn't say that last part, that's me extrapolating from his statement). So clicking on the new filename column header does nothing. It would be nice, sometimes, but that's just the way it is.

Is there something you are trying to do that makes you feel you need that? Maybe we can help?

EDIT: Oh, BTW, you can't sort on the "new path" or "new <whatever> date" either.
