I must say, I'm very excited about the release coming out next week! It includes more than 30 changes, many of which are brand new features. I have been writing a lot of code during the summer, which has resulted in something really great that I am very excited to show you all next week. Actually, I have many more new features I want to implement, but I had to stop for now, to get this release out. In theory I could release now, but I want to test more and also update the documentation. As soon as this next release is out, I will start working on the next one, for which I also have new exciting features planned.

To make some of these new features work and to make the ground work for some upcoming features, I had to completely rewrite the tag parser. The result is a parser with more capabilities and also better performance. Parsing tags is already very fast, so you might not notice any difference, but I sometimes like to optimize regardless :-). Developers these days are too lazy to make software fast (personal rant of mine).

I have noticed that several of the language files are some versions behind. If you are able to, it will be great if you can help out with updating the language files. The master language file for the next release has been uploaded and some translations has already been updated. I can update the language files by using AI, and I also do use it to fill the gaps for certain languages, but I prefer to have a human with knowledge about the language to write or review the translations. All language files has been created by users of Advanced Renamer. Translation instructions can be found here: https://www.advancedrenamer.com/translations

I've been using Advanced Renamer for years and it's honestly one of those rare tools that just keeps getting better.
