Apple uses sidecar files to maintain information about a file or how to apply batch processes to the original file; an example are picture files IMG_0228.JPG and the post processing sidecar IMG_0228.AAE.
How can I rename the first one, having the second one to have the same rename. Let's assume that I'm renaming using the 'date taken' information field to rename IMG_0228.JPG --> 2019-03-21 IMG_0228.JPG I would like to rename IMG_0228.AAE --> 2019-03-21 IMG_0228.AAE Is that something possible with AdvancedRenamer ? Just enable "Pair renaming" and this will be totally automatic.
