I am trying to use the <Video Framerate> tag to append the framerate to the end of the filename of many MP4 files. This end of my list of tags in my "New Name" method looks like this:
blah-blah-blah_<Video FrameRate>fps The current result is an error in AutoTest, "No video information found" for every file. The metadata is there -- I can use Properties->Details and see all the usual metadata, including frame rate. As a test, I also tried using <Video Width>, <Video Height> <Video Duration> <Video Bitrate> and <Video Audio Bitrate>and all have the same issue. Other non-video tags such as <Filesize Mb>and <Day Created> work fine. I did see the disclaimer "Note, not all video types and codecs are supported." however, MP4 is hardly an obscure type. Can someone try video tags with their own MP4 files as a check? Thanks! |

Works for me with v3.85 on Windows 10.
Check that analysis of video metadata hasn't been disabled - that replicates your issue. Settings are in Program->Settings->Music & video files. |

Good item to check, however, "Don't analyze video metadata" is unchecked. I downloaded this 1080p MP4 sample from online and had the same problem. Could I ask you to try this same file? https://file-examples.com/wp-content/uploads/201 7/04/file_example_MP4_1920_18MG.mp4 I'm also running v3.85 on Win10, only the portable version. It "shouldn't" matter but perhaps I should install the regular version. |

Installed version of ARen 3.85 works with this file as well. <Video FrameRate> returns 30.000 |

Thank you for doing the check on the file we can both access. I guess I will delete my current portable folder and try with a fresh copy. If that fails again, then I have to assume something is broken with the portable version. I would then try the installed version. |

Resolved! I simply looks like something got corrupted in AR. After saving my methods folder, I deleted the entire "portable" folder, un-ZIPped a fresh copy, and it worked. I added my saved methods and it still worked. Go figure.... Again, thanks for your help, David! |
