Hi,
Suppose I want to back-up jpg files from different folders into a single output folder and rename them. Suppose some of these files from the different folders are exactly the same (name, extension, content, etc.). Is there a way to filter duplicate files from different folders out before copying and renaming them to the single output folder? Thanks ! |

Just set the Name collision rule to Ignore and Rename & Copy the contents of all your folders to the output folder. Any duplicates will be ignored.

Thanks a lot for your reply, David - that worked for files within the same batch. What if I bring to the same output folder a new batch from a second driver that also has some files that are exactly the same ? I'm trying to create this single folder and copy & rename files from different drivers. As you can imagine, I'm doing that through different batches and if I bring a file from a different driver into the output folder it will 'collide' with the same file from the initial batch... Any thoughts about that? Hopefully it's my last question... |

Why don't you just try it? |
