cannot see the output section. I add my files then i cant see the files to work on them. The message i get shows the exact amount of files i put in but I am not seeing the files at all. the right of my screen just no longer shows me anything

First maximize the window.
You should at least see "Batch mode", the "Start Batch" button and the Rename Files/Folders tabs. If so, but the List panel is still hidden, carefully move your mouse cursor around just under the Files/Folders tabs. Hopefully you should be able to pick up a drag handle. If so then hold down the left mouse button and drag the handle downwards to open the panel. If that doesn't work then try to describe exactly what you can see in the window - if you are able to post a screenshot somewhere accessible then that would help. |

Alternatively you can restore Advanced Renamer to default settings by deleting or renaming the settings.ini file, which is in your AppData\Roaming folder.
Appdata is normally hidden, so the quickest way to access the folder is to right-click the Windows Start Button, select "Run" and type %appdata% then click OK. Navigate to "Hulubulu\Advanced Renamer 3\Data" Then either delete settigs.ini or rename to to something like settings.~ini Advanced Renamer will start with its default settings and generate a new settings.ini file. |
