Interface Troubleshooting - missing buttons, missing file area - Solution

I saw another posting where someone said their start batch button was missing. In my case, the entire file view was missing: Filename, new filename, start button - all just gray.

I believe we can fix 99% of this type of behavior by:
1) Save your current methods using the floppy disk save button.

2) Delete the contents of this directory. You can probably keep the UndoLists folder, which contains your undos.
C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Hulubulu\Advanced Renamer 3\Data
Just in case you don't know how to get to your user directory, that's also: %appdata%\Hulubulu\Advanced Renamer 3\Data

This is a correct fix for the problem you describe. You can also use the clear settings button in the settings window.

Unfortunately there is no known permanent fix for this issue. It usually happens when running multiple monitors with different screen resolutions or scale.
