Changing files ownership via batch?

Hi guys
Is it possible to do a batch change the ownership of files? The idea is to replace the ownership of the files of user X by user Y. |

Really what I need is to change the owner of file/folders of user "X" for user "Y" but without affecting the ownership of files/folders of user "W" (example with 3 users). I mean there are multiple users but the change should not affect certain users. thanks for to reply. |
