Application won't open

I have not been able to use this program for over a month. I open it, it shows up in my taskbar but there's no app window. I've tried running as admin, uninstalling and reinstalling, giving permissions through my firewall. How can I make this program work again?

Simply uninstalling does not reset the program configuration options. I can't guarantee that it will work - but try deleting the settings.ini file. It should live in %appdata%\Hulubulu\Advanced Renamer 3\Data
If that fails to eliminate the problem then contact the developer (Kim Jensen) for further advice: [email protected] |

Thank you! It still wasn't opening after I deleted that but when I hovered over the icon in the taskbar it was showing the language option window on my desktop. But, everytime I moved off the icon the window would disappear. I held shift and left clicked the icon which opened up another instance of the app and this time the language window didn't disappear. I then got to the main screen closed the app and reopened it and it worked. Perhaps it was just somewhere off my screen the whole time. I did just recently add a new monitor and switched the primary desktop. |
