Are there any plans to add a 'Date aquired' option. This is an attribute available in Windows explorer and useful for sorting movies (with random names) in the order taken. It would be very useful to replace the randome names with the date aquired. Thanks for a great app.

If the "Date Acquired" metadata exists in the file it is already available using the tag"<ExifTool:DateAcquired>" However this is a proprietary Micosoft XMP tag and is not available in all files. On my computer it only appears to be available in image files and I haven't found it to be set in any file I have examined. |
