HOW do you add folders to be renamed

Before the latest update you chose to add content and it would give you the option on that window to choose if you were adding files or folders.
Now it still gives you that option but it does not work that well. I will choose to add files go through choosing the files hit accept and the list will not propagate. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't, end up spending 10 minutes doing something that before took just a couple of minutes to do.
I'm all up for updates but when an update just makes the user work more for the same thing that took less work then it's just a burden.
