Hi,
I would like to use the modified time of creation of the file (photo) in the file name. This is related to the time zone change - now when naming files I would like to correct this. I use tags: <Img Hour><Img Min><Img Sec> and I would like it to be possible to do something like : <Img Hour-3><Img Min><Img Sec> . Obviously this does not work - hence the question what should be the correct syntax, and is it possible at all Rgds Darek |

Hi Darek, It's absolutely possible, but probably not without using a script. You can do *exactly* what you asked with one added RENUMBER method, but you will almost certainly run into the problem that, when the hour is less than 3 to begin with, you end up with negative numbers, meaning the previous day. If the original date falls on the first of a month, you then have a different month as well as a different day. And if it was 2024-01-01... well, you get the picture I hope. Luckily for you, the script you need has been (almost entirely) written for you already - quite a few times, as it turns out. Forum search is your friend, my friend. Try searching for "hour script" and you'll get a page of previous posts, many actually on the subject. I imagine "adjust date" or "adjust hour" might give you more possiblities. Just to start you off, here are three threads that deal almost exactly with your problem: https://www.advancedrenamer.com/forum_thread?for um_id=14054 https://www.advancedrenamer.com/forum_thread?for um_id=12795 https://www.advancedrenamer.com/forum_thread?for um_id=11860 I suggest you read the section on scripts in the User Manual, then one of those scripts should do pretty much what you want (maybe with tag names changed). By the way, pay particular attention to the replies by David Lee. Let me know how it goes, if you run into problems we'll figure it out. Best DF |
