Currently this software has:

-New Case
• Set pattern to lower case
and
• Set pattern to upper case

I need something different.
• Set pattern to title case
(i.e. change to upper case only the first letter of the word, the rest of the letters in the word remains unchanged)

Then I can input <Word:2> as the pattern

This is required when I wish to batch rename a list of file names to capitalise only the first letter of the 2nd word in each file name.

e.g.
John adam tour on holiday last year
Colin powell speech to veterans
Henry jones visit to factory

will be changed to

John Adam tour on holiday last year
Colin Powell speech to veterans
Henry Jones visit to factory

Can you include that feature in the next version of Advanced Renamer.

That make sense, that I think should be added to AR..

but while you wait, you can do that with a script method:

Thanks, G. Lambany.

I do not know how to use the Java Script.

I will wait for future Version of Advanced Renamer to incorporate a new feature to

• Set Pattern to Title Case (i.e. first letter of selected Word is changed to upper case, but the remaining letters in the word are unchanged)

This is simple, just add a "script" method to advanced renamer, and paste the code I linked into it.. then hit the "apply script" button.. not very hard
