Is it possible to rename a file only if target (new file name) does not exist OR is older than the file being renamed? Maybe scripting can do that?

If you set the value of Name Collision rule to Fail it will not rename the file if the new filename already exists. https://www.advancedrenamer.com/user_guide/name_ collision_rules Renaming, copying and moving in Advanced Renamer will never overwrite exiting files. |

Okay, but I need to rename the file even if the file with new filename exists, but is older than the file being renamed. |
