Kim,
I stumbled across this and tested it quite thoroughly. It may be my system, but here we go. I have a single file, which I applied a Case Method (say all upper case). Simple. I ran the batch, and on a local hard drive or an external hard drive, all worked as expected. I repeated the process on a Flash Drive Memory Stick .... the file was not changed (even after F5, Ctrl-F5, removing the stick, rebooting the Windows 10 PC .....). I tried on 2 other cards (so in total, 8Gb, 64Gb and 128Gb cards), all FAT32. Same (no) result. The Rename method worked. So I used 2 methods, Rename followed by Case. With an empty New Name or using <Name>, the batch ran but didn't change the file as it appeared in Explorer. If I used 1<Name>, ie forced a new name, followed by Case, it worked. And all that when I was investigating the Case method with file pairs! Back to that, now! Mark |

Kim, If you've read different text here before, sorry, I edited the wrong post, etc. :( I just tried this on another PC, and it worked OK. mmmmm. System which fails: Windows 10 AR v3.81 (I think, I'll have to check tonight) System which works as expected: Windows 7 AR v3.81 Same memory stick (one only) Can't think of anything else that might be important ...
