copy and paste and rename

Hi

I would like to use your program to make DVD covers consistent across all platform (plex, Kodi wdtv) I use a metadata program that gives me great artwork and saves it as poster.jpg

Example

g: Movies\Cast Away (2000)\
Cast Away (2000).mkv
poster.jpg
Cast Away (2000).nfo

I would like to copy the poster.jpg file in that folder make 2 copies of the same jpg and rename one folder and one cover in that folder

Example

g: Movies\Cast Away (2000)\
Cast Away (2000).mkv
poster.jpg
cover.jpg
folder.jpg
Cast Away (2000).nfo

Interesting. I'm struggling to see how this can be done in a simple, single batch. It's easy enough in 2 passes:

Select Batch mode: Copy

New Name method #1
New Name: cover
Apply to: Name
Select this Method (tick near red cross)

New Name method #2
New Name: folder
Apply to: Name
Unselect this Method

Drag in poster.jpg
Run batch (will copy poster.jpg to cover.jpg)

Select Add all items (bottom right hand side, blue hyperlink style)
Unselect Method #1
Select Method #2

Run batch

Rather crude and requires a few clicks etc, but not too bad when set up.

You can save the natch methods for use later.

Cool Man that works well. To add a step I searched poster in windows dragged them all into Advanced renamer then did 200 movies at a time. great program!
