How to use Windows star rating for photos or music?

Hello everyone
Windows Photo Gallery or even poor Windows can add or modify a star based rating (0 - 5 stars) to some files (photos, music)
How could I use them as attributes for renaming?

I found all other required attributes and this is really great!
