I have just downloaded Advanced Renamer on recommendation from cnet.com who really like it I have tried it and find it really good but I need to tag images like this :-

"File name # 001" etc instead of "Filename001" which it is doing at the moment. Is there any way to create a tag to do " # 001" as by using "<Inc Nr:001>" when I change it to <Inc Nr: # 001> it says it is an invalid tag.

Just add a '#' and then the "<Inc Nr:001>" as second.

ADD: [ # <Inc Nr:001>]
At index: [ 0]
[X] Backwards

Brilliant, thanks a lot :- ) - solved part of the problem. The other thing is can I add spaces ?
My files are all "Filename'space'#'space'001" - if that makes any sense :- )

Also can I save these as 'custom' tags ? - if I can how do I do that ?
Sorry to be a pain but I only downloaded it today.

Thanks in advance,
Andy.

Yes.
Just use my above example exactly as shown.

But here once more for you:

ADD: [~#~<Inc Nr:001>]
At index: [ 0]
[X] Backwards

Here the ~ sign indicates an space.
Just press the space bar instead of entering the ~ sign.

Yes.
Just be sure you have only that single ADD method in the view.
Then press the most right button in the PRESETs bar (that
with the "Save Method List" hint visible on hovering over)
and save it e.g. as "serialize with leading #" .

Later you can use the second right button to load it again.

Nema problema, but
if you would test with an few test files in an temp folder
you can't hardly explode your computer.
So just try it out yourself and take your time.

HTH? :D
