Add sequential number

Case: Add a sequential number to the beginning of each file in the list.

Do the following:

1. Add the files to the list.
2. If there are methods in the method list click the Clear Methods toolbar button.
3. Add New Name method and configure like this
• New name: <Inc Nr:1>_<Name>
• Apply To: Name
4. Verify the names in the list and click Start Batch.

The number of zeros in the incrementing number can be changed by adding zeros to the number after the colon. For example, <Inc Nr:001> will produce a number with a minimum length of 3.
